AWS Outage 2025-10-20
On October 20th, 2025, Intelligems' cloud provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), experienced a widespread outage in their largest US datacenter. This outage disrupted Intelligems' data ingestion for about 2.5 hours, between 6:50 AM and 9:20 AM UTC (2:50 AM to 5:20 AM EDT). Intelligems was unable to receive visitor page view tracking. Experiments and personalizations continued to function as normal, but since Intelligems was unable to receive data on user activity, analytics will behave as if experiments were paused during this period.
The outage also affected usage of many parts of the Intelligems app, including login. These services have since largely recovered, but we are continuing to monitor.
