Slack Integration

Overview

Our Slack Integration allows you to:

  1. Connect with the Intelligems Support Team to ask questions in a shared dedicated Slack Channel

  2. Access our @intelligems AI Slack Agent to help you analyze data, guide you on test setup, and help troubleshoot any issues you run into

  3. Recieve Slack Alerts when key actions or test milestones occur.

Agency Setup

Agencies that are a part of our partner program can use this Slack Integration. To be able to view your Agency specific Slack Settings in app, please reach out to our Support Team with the email address of your Slack Admin + a list of the brands you manage.

How to Connect Intelligems to Slack

  1. Navigate to your Integration Settings

  2. Find the Slack Integration

  3. Click Connect

  1. Complete the Authentication Flow

Now you will have a shared dedicated slack channel where you can post questions & have the Intelligems AI Agent or Intelligems Support Team answer them!

You must be a Slack Admin to complete the Slack Connection Process. No Intelligems users have Slack Admin access? Our Team can create a shared dedicated slack channel for you!

What to Ask the AI Agent

The AI Agent has access to your Test Results, On-Site Personalizations, and Sitewide Analytics data. You can ask questions in plain English — no need to open the dashboard.

Test results

Weekly pulse check

"Give me a quick status on all my running tests — which have reached significance, which are trending positive or negative, and are there any I should end early or extend?"

Profit opportunity scan

"Looking at my completed tests from the past 6 months, which winning variations had the highest revenue per visitor lift? Are there any winners I haven't implemented yet? Rank my top 3 by estimated monthly revenue impact."

Segment deep dive

"Across my running tests, how do results break down by mobile vs desktop and new vs returning customers? Where should I focus optimization efforts for the highest ROI?"

Testing program health check

"How many tests have I completed in the past 3 months? What's my win rate? What types of tests am I running most — and what am I missing?"

Price sensitivity analysis

"Based on my price and offer tests, what have I learned about customer price sensitivity? Do new vs returning customers respond differently to discounts?"

On-site personalizations

Performance overview

"Which of my active personalizations are performing best right now? Show me conversion rate and revenue per visitor for each."

Audience targeting check

"Are any of my personalizations targeting overlapping audiences? Could they be interfering with each other?"

Underperforming rules

"Are there any personalizations that have been running for more than 30 days with no meaningful lift? Which ones should I reconsider?"

Segmented performance

"Break down my personalization performance by new vs returning visitors. Are my personalizations more effective for one segment than the other?"

Sitewide analytics

Overall health check

"How did we perform last month vs the month before? Give me a quick summary of the key changes."

Conversion rate check

"Are we converting more or fewer visitors into customers right now, and has that changed over the past few weeks?"

Channel quality

"Which marketing channel is bringing in the most valuable customers right now? Compare revenue per visitor across channels."

Device gap

"How does mobile compare to desktop in terms of conversion rate and revenue per visitor? Has the gap gotten better or worse?"

New vs returning customers

"Are new visitors converting at a different rate than returning ones? What's the revenue per visitor difference between the two groups?"

Channel trend

"How is our paid social performance trending over the past 30 days compared to email and SMS?"

AOV and discounting

"Is our average order value trending up or down, and are we discounting more than we used to?"

Channel prioritization

"If we could only focus on growing one channel based on current data, which should it be?"

Customizing Settings

When you navigate to Settings > Slack Settings, you can customize the AI Support Agent settings & the Alert settings

AI Support Settings

Auto-Respond

When the Auto-Respond Setting is enabled, the AI Slack Agent will automatically respond to any new thread in that slack channel. If you have follow up questions on an existing thread, you'll need to call @intelligems for the AI Slack Agent to answer.

When the Auto-Respond Setting is disabled, the AI Slack Agent will only respond to slacks that include @intelligems

Adding AI Slack Agent to Other Slack Channels

To add the AI Slack Agent to other slack channels:

  1. Add the channel in Intelligems

  1. In Slack, use the /add command in that same channel

  1. Find and select Intelligems

Don't see an "Add Slack Channel" in Intelligems? This is because your Slack Integration was manually created by the Intelligems Team. In order for the Integration to access the rest of your Slack channels, you must have a Slack Admin connect Slack to Intelligems in the Intelligems Platform.

Adding Multiple Brands

Do you have multiple Intelligems accounts? Allow the AI Support Slack Agent to access multiple accounts' data by adding brand(s) as shown below:

In the pop-out that appears, adjust the threshold in question & press save

Adding Alerts to Other Slack Channels

You can have alerts go into any Slack Channel you want. Simply:

  1. Add the Slack Channel in Intelligems

  1. Enable the alerts you'd like to see & save

Don't see an "Add Slack Channel" in Intelligems? This is because your Slack Integration was manually created by the Intelligems Team. In order for the Integration to access the rest of your Slack channels, you must have a Slack Admin connect Slack to Intelligems in the Intelligems Platform.

Disconnecting/Reconnecting

To disconnect your Slack Integration from Intelligems, in your Slack Settings > click Disconnect

To reconnect your Slack Integration, in your Slack Settings > click Reconnect

Troubleshooting

  • If you OAuthed your Slack Integration prior to March 24th 2026, you'll need to reconnect & grant new permissions to the Integration for the AI Agent + Alerting to work.

  • If a Slack Alert isn't being triggered, it's likely because the Slack Channel it's connected to doesn't have the Intelligems Slack Agent. You can add the Slack Agent via the /add command.

  • If the Intelligems Slack Agent isn't able to be tagged, it's likely because the Slack Channel it's connected to doesn't have the Intelligems Slack Agent. You can add the Slack Agent via the /add command.
